Raiders Draft Tracker 2019: Another QB Sneaking Up Raiders Board?

April 17, 2019 - 3:38 pm

LAS VEGAS (KXST) - The days are ticking down into the single digits as we count down to the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Raiders still hold three picks in the first round, with plenty of needs to be addressed.  As always, we’ll keep track of all the movement right here for you until the Commissioner takes the podium.

Alabama run stopper Quinnen Williams is pretty much the concensus choice for the Raiders at no. 4.  Twenty-one of the 25 mock drafts we’ve watched since April 1 list Williams as the likely selection.  Four suggest the Raiders might deal into the no. 1 position and take either Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray or Ohio State DE Nick Bosa.

Meanwhile, the 24th selection now teeters between offense and defense, according to the experts.  LSU’s Greedy Williams and Washington’s Byron Murphy are two cover corners landing here.  And for the first time, Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins has sneaked into the conversation at this spot.

Finally, at no. 27, Alabama RB Josh Jacobs and Iowa TE Noah Fant have their names in the hat to potentially help power an offensive upgrade in the Raiders’ final season in Oakland.  Beefy linemen – Kansas State’s Dalton Risner and N.C. State’s Garrett Bradbury - are also possibilities.
