LAS VEGAS, NV - On Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders announced the signing of former Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota to backup Derek Carr.

The 2nd overall pick in the 2015 draft lost his starting job to Ryan Tannehill who recently signed a four-year deal with the Titans.

Mariota's arrival should put an end to any talk of the Raiders signing free agent QB Tom Brady who announced on Tuesday morning his time in New England is over.  Oddsmakers had the six-time Superbowl Champion as a 12 to 1 longshot to end up in Las Vegas.
