OAKLAND, Calif. (KXST/AP) - After weeks as the frontrunner, the Raiders finally appeared to emerge victorious in the hunt for Antonio Brown, securing the disgrunted wide receiver in a verbal agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers late Saturday, according to published reports.

Under the terms of the deal as reported by the Associated Press, the Raiders send a third and fifth round draft pick to Pittsburgh for the All Pro wideout.

Brown will sign a new three-year deal with the Raiders that will pay him $50.125 million instead of the $38.925 million he was owed by the Steelers. The deal also includes $30 million guaranteed, compared to none remaining in his old deal.

Brown seemed to confirm the deal with a series of posts to his Instagram account Saturday night.

No NFL trades can be finalized until the official start of the new league season on Wednesday.

Brown spent nine years in Pittsburgh and entrenched himself as one of the most dangerous deep threats in the NFL.  Brown gathered 834 receptions, 11,207 yards and 74 touchdown catches over his tenure in Pittsburgh, including an NFL-record six consecutive 100-catch seasons.
